Send in the florals! A bounty of floral frocks were seen on the runway during the Fall/Winter 2017 shows in Paris, Milan and London. Below are some of my favorite floral looks from the collections - hope you enjoy!

This was one of my favorite collections from Paris Fashion Week. Ultra-glamorous gowns with floral embroidery were the show stopping pieces of this gorgeous collection.
I'm still loving every look from this collection of dark, rocker looks with a romantic, feminine twist. The edgy lace-up booties were the perfect complement to the girly silhouettes - need a pair asap!
The theme of edgy, leather lace-up boots paired with feminine softness continued at Valentino. Here, pretty, unicorn-like pastels were mixed with black for an edgy, yet whimsical look.
It was a princess floral party at the Dolce and Gabbana show! I am obsessing over all of the textured floral dresses and of course, the always over-the-top headpieces.
I can't get enough of the woodland fairy / goddess vibe at the Alberta Ferretti show. A true tribute to mother nature!
An attic-chic theme took the runway again at this year's Gucci show. My mom definitely had a blazer with a similar print seen on the first dress here. I always love the fun, quirkiness of this show!
Known for her playful prints, Katrantzou's collection was inspired by Disney's Fantasia. The magical collection featured an elegant abundance of floral prints!
Elaborate, bright florals took the runway at the Temperley London show. How fun is the Aztec floral design of the first dress?!
The embroidered, English floral dresses with beautiful lace accents were total perfection at Erdem.
It may have been snowy and frigid outside during New York Fashion Week, but the frenzy of florals on the runway kept my spirits up! Below are my top 5 favorite floral collections from NYFW and I can only hope that this floral trend will continue to London, Milan and Paris.

Marchesa's collections are always breathtaking, and this season's frocks didn't disappoint. The embroidered floral gowns with tulle are fit for a princess and I can only hope that we'll be seeing gowns from this collection at the Oscars!
2. Tory Burch
Inspired by Katherine Hepburn's character in A Philadelphia Story, Burch's collection radiated old Hollywood glamour. I especially loved the sophisticated elegance throughout this collection.
To no surprise, the most gorgeous fluttery floral dresses graced the runway at Zimmerman. I loved the mix of delicate boho inspired dresses with leather thigh-high boots.
Dark romantic florals were highlighted throughout the collection at Sachin & Babi. The over-the- top jewels mixed with dramatic floral prints were elegant and sophisticated. Also, talk about floral backdrop inspo!
5. Tanya Taylor
I loved the moody, mixed floral prints and color palette at Tanya Taylor... and the floral footwear! Obsessed!
Beyonce, Adele, and Lady Gaga all preforming in one place - it doesn't get much better than that!
I always love to see what over-the-top outfits Lady Gaga and Katy Perry show up in last night, they didn't disappoint.
Kelsea Ballerini, Andra Day, and Lea Michele looked flawless in floral looks.
My favorite was Kelsea Ballerini's elegantly, romantic floral gown by Ines di Santo, a designer we made dessert headpieces for during bridal fashion week.

New York Fashion Week starts today and as we look forward to seeing what the trends will be this fall, I can't stop dreaming about the fanciful florals that graced the runway at Christian Dior's Spring 2017 Couture Collection.
The moss-covered runway was transformed into a enchanted garden with overgrown hedges and served as the perfect whimsical backdrop. Guests then entered through an outdoor maze into an installed a garden within the Musée Rodin. The garden theme was not only experienced at the venue, but truly came to life with gorgeous gowns covered in floral accents and of course our favorite, the blooming floral nymph-like headpieces!
Below are some of my favorite looks from the collection! Which look is your favorite?

Chinese food, wine, and the Golden Globes... pretty much sums up my Sunday night!
It's bitter cold in NYC, but it was a rainbow of color on the Golden Globes red carpet. I loved the gorgeous women who graced the carpet in dazzling, show-stopping floral romantic pieces.
Olivia Culpo, Lily Collins, Jessica Chastain, Louise Roe, Kerry Washington, Giuliana Rancic, Connie Britton and Laura Dern proved that floral will forever slay on the red carpet. I hope this black tie floral trend will continue at the Oscars!
I love everything about the Royal family! I think they're so entertaining to read about and always looks so effortlessly charming. Also, how can you not be obsessed with the adorable Prince George and Princess Charlotte (they're too cute!).
This past month, I loved all the florals frocks that the elegant and always beautiful Kate Middleton wore.
On William and Kate's recent trip to Canada, I fell in love with all of her stylish outfits. I especially loved her bespoke Alexander McQueen intricately floral detailed red and white dress. It was sophisticated and elegant, something a true Duchess would wear.
A few weeks a go, I adored the lovely pink floral print Kate Spade New York dress that Kate wore at the London Eye for a reception for World Mental Heath Day. The rose print dress is graceful, polished, and perfect for fall.
Yesterday, Middleton wore a dashing Alexander McQueen poppy print 1970's inspired shirtdress at a reception in London. I'm absolutely in love with the 70's inspired poppy print. It's so on trend right now.
Let us know what you think about Kate's chic, sophisticated style!
One of my favorite accessories from Fashion Week has been the dramatic and romantic crystal flower earrings from the Delpozo Spring 2017 show. In my last article, I discussed how I loved the romantic floral prints in Delpozo's show and these statement earrings are the perfect complement in neon bright colors as well as clear. They matche perfectly with the vivid color palette and prints seen in the collection.
After doing some research, I discovered that these over-the-top earrings took 12 hours to make and are "made up of a total of 2,978 sequins of cut glass, paillettes, iridescent Plexiglass cutouts, silver; 1,268 of which are Swarovski crystals." Wow! Those poor models earlobes must have hurt after the show.
I can definitely see Christy rocking the bright pink earrings to an event. Let us know what you think of this ear candy!
Seeing how we love floral everything, we couldn’t be more excited that romantic florals were the hottest trend at New York Fashion Week for Spring 2017. It was a frenzy of florals! We saw a variety of vibrant and colorful floral patterns that strutted down the runway. Some of our favorite picks from NYC Fashion Week were from Michael Kors, Naeem Khan, and Delpozo.
Floral prints were also seen in London for Fashion Week! While NY took a brighter approach, London took a darker approach and focused on deep, dark, romantic florals. Some of our favorite picks from London Fashion Week were from Erdem, Christopher Kane, and House of Holland.
We’re loving this romantic floral trend and can't wait to see these prints pop up in the Spring.

We couldn’t be more excited that the floral print and accessory trend has migrated to Milan Fashion Week. This past Sunday, we fell in love with the over-the-top headpieces at the Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2017 show and always find inspiration in the creative atmosphere that Dolce & Gabbana creates in their shows. This show was no exception, with a Tropico Italiano theme that included glowing palm trees, street dancers from Naples, fun, quirky prints as well as light-up shoes and handbags.
Highlights from the show include: bright yellow jackets with colorful beading and sequin embroidery, a brocade floral embellished skirt and floral clutch, the long, romantic rose printed dress with matching earrings and of course, we couldn’t stop staring at the elaborate headpieces that graced the runway. These are the types of fashion shows that inspire us to create one-of-a-kind headpieces at Crowns by Christy.

Florals? for Spring? Groundbreaking...
As a gal who lives in florals, nothing makes me happier than the staying power of floral prints through the fall and winter seasons (even if I am forced to cover them up with a horrid puffy coat in January).
Kristen Bell, Sarah Hyland and Constance Zimmer all proved that floral prints are NOT just for spring at the Emmy Awards last night and I can't wait to see if this trend pops up throughout awards season. So in love with all three of these gorgeous looks!

Every season, there is one collection in which I am like... GIVE. ME. EVERYTHING. For Spring 2017, it is Rebecca Taylor and I mean, EVERYTHING. This collection of dreamy / ruffled / sweet / cotton candy / floral / Marie Antoinette , yet "I am sort of a badass in a structured jumpsuit of pink posies" perfection is what dreams are made of. Here are some of my favorite looks (images c/o Rebecca Taylor via Vogue.com).
Yes, it is clear that I have an obsession with floral dresses and I would like to think that this one by Joie was made for me. If you don't catch it on sale here, you can still rent it from Rent the Runway for only $70!
Best when worn with a flower crown of course!
