Summer is here! Which means that every Saturday morning, I pick up the latest local glossies at the Golden Pear in Bridgehampton along with my New York Post and iced tea (they make the best in the entire world). Here are some highlights from the first few issues of my favorite Hamptons publications.
This cover of HC&G is EVERYTHING. From the Chanel surf board to the vintage shell-back chairs, I have become obsessed with the design of Sasha Bikoff's Bridgehampton home which is featured in this issue. Her design style is incredibly colorful and just the photos alone put me in a good mood!
The Daily is one of my all time favorites during the summer months and throughout New York Fashion Week. Stella Maxwell graces the cover of the Memorial Day kickoff issue and I instantly became obsessed with the pages after pages of Stella styled by Jeremy Scott in a 1950's diner setting. I'm also on the hunt for this powdery pink lip color which wasn't credited, but I won't give up...
Oh the Hedges Inn... Quintessentially Hamptons and my absolute favorite landmark out east. Driving past this beauty on the way to East Hampton always makes me happy (built in 1652!).
The Serena & Lily Beach Market in Wainscott may be my favorite shop in the Hamptons. I stock up on beach towels and napkins every summer (I have a napkin problem btw). This Avalon Daybed is on my wish list so i pulled this tear from the June catalogue... not so practical for my New York City apartment, but hopefully it will still be around the day it finally fits into my life
When you see an article about SJP, you stop and read... am I right? Although she won't share her favorite Hamptons Beach (mine is also a secret), I like that she has a mutual love for the ARF (Animal Rescue Fund) Thrift Shop which is a total hidden gem!
